Sajha Sawal (Common Questions), a current affairs/development TV show, was awarded with “Popular Participatory Programme” in the talk show category, on Sunday in Kathmandu amidst an attractive function. On behalf of Sajha Sawal, Ishwar Rauniyar received the trophy and certificate from the Director of Nepal Television, Mr. Prakash Jung Karki, who was invited as a guest by the organizer, Artworkers Forum of Nepal (TAFON). TAFON is a forum for all the TV workers in Nepal. The certificate that has signatures of Mr. Krishna Dhungana, Chairman of TAFON and Mr. Lilamani Poudel, Chief Secretary of Nepal Government reads, “In a bid to encourage and respect the work of television artworkers this award has been given to Sajha Sawal under the category of Popular Public Participatory Talk Show.” Sajha Sawal is The BBC Media Action, Nepal’s production. It broadcasts through Kantipur Television, BBC Nepali Service Radio along with other 250 local fm stations every Sunday at 9 pm.
